General insurance business is a rapidly changing and challenging business. New products are generated from day to day. Insurance System is a flexibly designed system supporting insurance products of various kinds, including marine cargo insurance, fire insurance, travel insurance and home maid insurance, etc.

Insurance System Lite version (ISU-Lite) is a light version of the Insurance System. It is one of the awarded systems by The 2006/07 Sector-Specific Programme organized by Hong Kong Information Technology Federation (HKITF), Hong Kong Small and Medium Enterprises Association (HKSME) and Digital Trade and Transportation Network (DTTNCo) for the promotion of e-Business in SME market in 2007.

The development of ISU-Lite is funded by this project initiative. ISU-Lite is integrated with the DTTN network for insurance-related document exchange which benefits insurance brokers as well as shipping companies and traders for exchanging the documents electronically. The document formats conform to the international standard which can be adopted worldwide.
